LOOMIS, Calif. - Feb. 11, 2022 - PRLog -- Penryn Workshop of Penryn, CA is hosting a fundraiser during "WorldStoke.org" for California's Foodlink.org on March 13, 2022 at 5pm.  The dinner and silent art auction, Empty Bowls/Empty Goblets, is being held at The Blue Goose Event Center in Loomis, CA with handmade pottery bowls and goblets going home with the attendees, which local artists made and donated for this event.  All of the artwork for the silent art auction has also been donated by local artists to raise awareness and funds for California's Foodlink.org.

"WorldStoke.org" is an international art symposium, featuring hands-on artist demonstrations and participatory kiln firings for registrants' ceramic artwork.  The keynote speaker for this Penryn Workshop is, the revolutionary artist, Emory Douglas.  His presentation is being held live at American River College (Raef Hall 160) in Sacramento, CA on March 11, 2022 at 1pm.  This one hour event, with Q&A following, is open to the public, free of charge.  Please note the college follows current COVID safety regulations for entry.  Emory Douglas' talk will also be live-streamed at 1pm to the Blue Goose Event Center in Loomis, CA for the paid registrants of "WorldStoke".

During "WorldStoke," the Empty Bowls/Empty Goblets is a fundraising dinner event on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 5:00pm at the Blue Goose Event Center 3550 Taylor Road Loomis, California. Tickets are $50, benefitting Foodlink.org, and include a hand thrown ceramic bowl and goblet for each person to take home. California ceramic artists, Rodney Mott, Chris Thompson and Joe Taylor, have created the unique ceramic bowls and goblets for this event.  For dinner, enjoy a bowl of beef chili or vegetarian minestrone along with wine or sparkling water. For the silent art auction, peruse and bid on artwork by local artists, who have donated all the artwork proceeds to benefit Foodlink.org.  Full ticket sales and silent art auction proceeds will benefit California's Foodlink.org.  Empty Bowls/Empty Goblets is open to the public.  All of the artwork, food, and beverages were donated for this event.
