New small business - changing the customer experience of buying second hand children's clothes
For too long there has been a stigma attached to it, it's time for the buying experience to be upgraded, the online shopping experience you expect and a quality guarantee that means buying second hand isn't a lottery.
Hoola is aimed at those who haven't bought second hand before or who want to be sure of the quality they will get. To encourage those who might not have previously bought second hand to give it a go.
We have all heard a lot recently about over consumption and reducing what we buy, Hoola is all about giving outgrown children's clothes a new life, an extended life. This is the epitome of reduce, reuse, recycle and it's the circular economy in action.
Ali Lowrie the founder and owner of Hoola was inspired by the volume of perfectly good clothes her 4 children grew out of but she didn't have anyone to pass them on to. Inspired by keeping her mind busy on maternity leave she set about selling them on online market places.
Extending this model via instagram, Hoola has already rescued outgrown children's clothes from over 130 families and found them new homes.
http://www.hoolakids.co.uk - This week marks the launch of the new website where all these quality items wait to be discovered and wing their way to new homes.
