VENTURA, Calif. - Feb. 4, 2022 - PRLog -- The Workforce Development Board of Ventura County has partnered with the California Employers Association to provide Ventura County employers with a free webinar discussing new 2022 employment laws. The "Labor Law Update: What's New In 2022?" webinar is Tuesday, February 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Attendees will learn about the new employment laws that impact California employers.

This presentation will provide the latest updates and new bills that touch on almost every facet of employment for 2022. Topics range from new reporting requirements due to COVID-19 to wage theft consequences and a new minimum wage. It will discuss industry-specific laws and recent case law.

The presentation is approved for one HR Certification Institute recertification credit and one SHRM professional development credit.
