Awards will still be presented to the fastest male/female runners from the various age groups, the race also awards non-binary, gender inclusive race medals. Special plaques will also be given for the fastest attorneys. All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt and participant medal. Proceeds from the Valentine Run will benefit the civil legal aid programs of Legal Services of Northern California. "The on-going economic and social impacts of the pandemic fall hardest upon the most vulnerable of our neighbors. Your support helps us provide needy individuals, families, and communities with critical civil legal services in the areas of housing, health, income support, and civil rights," said LSNC Executive Director Gary F. Smith. The Valentine Run/Walk promotes community health and fitness. To encourage fitness for the whole family, LSNC offers discounted family-pack pricing. Participants can also opt to register their canine friends for a commemorative doggie scarf and race gear.
