By: New Dawn Design During the 2021 calendar year, SMVT donated $11,907.73 to the ACHMV NICU off the sales of the brand. They anticipate the 2022 donations to double since events and retail stores are opening without major pandemic lockdowns. Linda Barton, the founder of Sweet Memories states, "We are just getting started. Initially our first licensing agreement was just Good Humor. In 2021 we have added 39 new licensing agreements and 68 new designs." The SMVT designs are inspired by vintage archives and style assets of the licensed brands. They are graphically recreated and sent for trademark approval by graphic designer Abbey Scoville, alumni of Youngstown State University. These new designs include Andes® Mints, BOSCO®, Caramel Apple Pops®, Charleston Chew®, Cella's® Cherries, Dubble Bubble®, Dum-Dums®, NECCO®, Nik-L-Nip®, PEZ®, Smarties®, Sweethearts® Barton goes on to add, "We are so excited to be releasing our Patriot line, officially licensed U.S. Army® collection this year." The designs will be classic vintage designs like "Rosie the Riveter" and "Uncle Sam Wants You". This Patriotic apparel line will benefit the veterans. She states," Veterans have done so much for our country, and give a sacrifice that so many take for granted. We believe in supporting our troops." In addition to U.S. Army® collection, a new partnership has been solidified with ©National Packard Museum of Warren Ohio where 20% of the proceeds will benefit the preservation of the museum's history.
