SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Jan. 31, 2022 - PRLog -- The Planting People Growing Justiceā„¢ Press and Bookstore has been chosen for inclusion in Prudential's REUNION platform. PPGJLI is part of the REUNION Twin Cities Rising group. REUNION provides a platform for messaging, contributions, and support of founders with others in their area that are working to create wealth and change for Black, Latinx, and Indigenous entrepreneurs.

"We are honored to be a part of the Prudential Cares #TwinCitiesRising REUNION. This will provide us with the funds and mentorship needed to expand our Black woman-owned publishing house and bookstore," said Dr. Artika Tyner, founder of Planting People Growing Justice.

Reunion members in the @TwinCitiesRising group include Tyner, founder of PPGJ Books; Eboni Bell, founder of Dream Girl Box; Brook LaFloe, founder of Niniijaanis; and Erika Quezada, founder of Lotus Life & Wellness Coaching. Individuals can follow the founders, provide support, and contribute to their projects that are making a difference in the lives of BIPOC communities throughout the city.

The PPGJ bookstore (https://planting-people-growing-justice-leadership-instit...) is a curated collection of children's books from new and established authors. The books promote literacy, cultural awareness, and leadership development. Many have won prestigious awards and provide diverse representation in their pages.

Books encompass those that can be read to the youngest children to teach them about their history, culture, and traditions. The children's literature also includes books for ages 8-12 that address topics that include the fight for Black Rights, the Black Lives Matter movement, and voter suppression.

The mission of the PPGJLI bookstore is to promote literacy and inspire everyday people to discover the leader within themselves to lead change worldwide. The bookstore features a diverse range of authors and supports multicultural education @TwinCitiesRising (https://www.joinreunion.com/reunion/twincitiesrising/).

Prudential's REUNION platform is an easy and convenient way to support local businesses and expand services that help support communities of color @joinreunion (https://twitter.com/joinreunion). Contributions to REUNION clusters are distributed equally to the founders' campaigns upon completion. The funds enable entrepreneurs of color to close their capital gap and meet emergency needs.
