FlightTonus Care Systems Inc. Reveals Air Travelers' Fears and Problems and What to Do About Them

FlightTonus startup project wants to reduce anxiety before, during and after air travel by providing users with timely information, updates, reminders, and meditation services.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Jan. 28, 2022 - PRLog -- How many people have a fear of flying? Between 33% and 40% of all people experience anxiety in some form when flying. Statistics on the fear of flying show that stress is quite prevalent among the population and can negatively affect a person's quality of life. Most commonly, people fear the unknown; they feel that they have no control over the situation and their safety. Some might fear turbulence, take-offs, and landings; others fear terrorism or air crashes. And someone who fears heights might become terrified thinking about flying many kilometres above the ground. The list of fears has increased significantly during the pandemic: the possibility of catching the virus during travel, PCR tests, a necessity to wear masks during the whole flight, and closed borders and quarantines.

Unfortunately, there is no such pill that one can take to make all fears and anxiety go away. But there is an app that can make people feel less anxious and more prepared for a flight. The FlightTonus application can help battle anxiety or claustrophobia. The app sends notifications about upcoming turbulence zones and recommendations on coping with various stressors using suggestions for articles to read, relaxing music to listen to, or meditations to try out. It also offers a complete multimedia entertainment suite to keep users engaged. Other common issues are dehydration and muscle stiffness during the flight. FlighTonus sends reminders to drink more fluids and provides alerts to stretch your body on the plane, activating the muscular and circulatory systems. One more common problem after long-haul flights is jet lag. Seemingly ubiquitous and often considered unavoidable, jet lag can cause daytime fatigue, feeling unwell, difficulty staying alert and gastrointestinal problems. FlightTonus will advise how to get back to a regular regime after a trip minimizing jet lag and thus its sneaky side effects. It is impossible to eliminate all the fears and anxiety. Still, the more prepared a person is, the more comfortable flight they have and can fully enjoy travel and the surrounding pictures of the beautiful sky and clouds.
