Team structures, alignments and multi-alignments can be supported and even dependencies become critical.

OKRs follow manual tracking that create an island. This island disconnects the goals from the tools and the apps that the workforce uses on a daily basis. Goals live outside the teams or the purview of individuals, and it is highly difficult for the contributors to hold themselves accountable. Strategic focus might be lost in the day-to-day distraction of the competing priorities. This leads to detracting away from the work that matters the most.

The teams might struggle to parse through the information manually. This can result in a lack of insight into the annual and the quarterly progress. To boost employee morale, the loss of these insights does nothing. The loss of these insights leads to the lower adoption and contribution throughout the process of the OKR.
