By: Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida
"Our objectives for January 27th career fair are: to see community members (including Dunbar community) gain employment in their desired field, assist local business partners in landing quality employees and in gaining greater exposure in SWFL, states Tim Goodman, Goodwill SWFL Employer Relations Specialist. "Also, to increase community awareness of such resources as: some local educational institutions, Lee Tran, Lee Co. Library System, United Way, CareerSource, and Vocational Rehabilitation."
The event is sponsored by the City of Fort Myers. Participants are asked to dress professionally and bring resumes. Those needing help with resume writing or interviewing skills, can contact a Goodwill SWFL Community Resource Center (CRC) prior to the event for assistance. Goodwill's CRCs offer employment services and free computer skills training. A list of locations are online at https://www.goodwillswfl.org/
