Pro football greats join Laughs with Legends for Super Bowl Week LVI on February 9, 2022

LOS ANGELES - Jan. 18, 2022 - PRLog -- NFL Legends unite on Wednesday, February 9, at Regency West in Los Angle les for Laughs with Legends™, A full-blown comedy show with a sports twist. Debuting at Super Bowl LI Week in Houston in 2017, the show features professional comedians and professional athletes for a night of "Diversity Hilarity."

For sports fans, the Legends Liar's Club™ Is the highlight of the evening. Some of the NF L's most prestigious alumni share a little-known fact about themselves. It is true for only one former player on stage; however, each cast member tries to convince the audience that every story is about him ... and what you see isn't always what you get!
Laughs With Legends™, which has featured and honored dozens of NFL greats, has been held on­demand throughout the country for charities that support education (particularly healthcare education), economic empowerment and social justice. The Super Bowl Week LVI Show in Los Angeles will feature Pro Football Hall of Fame member Thurman Thomas, and Super Bowl Champions Ed ''Too Tall" Jones, Larry Centers and Steve Beuerle in the Legends Liar's Club. The show will be emceed by Billy D. Washington (Comedy Central, Last Comedy Standing), and feature comedian Christopher "Kid" Reid (from Kid 'n Play fame).
The comedy show's founder and producer, Rita Mort of Game Changers Worldwide, says, "We founded Laughs with Legends™ to reinforce -through comedy-that diverse teams make the best teams. At a time when our nation is plagued with racial and political strife, we continue to break down barriers and bridge differences by laughing ... often at ourselves. You can't win as a team or a nation without coming together for a common goal. And in Los Angeles, we'll have a truly worthwhile common goal -- raising money to benefit I-Can Youth Foundation."
Other confirmed Laughs with Legends™ celebrity attendees include Pro Football Hall of Fame member and Pittsburgh Steelers legend Franco Harris, Dallas Cowboys legend Kenny Gant, Dallas Cowboys legend Flozell Adams and Oakland Raiders legend, Chad Slaughter. In addition to raising money through ticket sales, Laughs with Legends™ will feature a live and silent auction. The live auction will be hosted by celebrity auctioneer John Luke, former host of Storage Wars New York.
