Participants who complete all four sessions receive a Wonder Garden Certificate of Achievement and Florida Landscaping Expert certificate. Topics include: living in a subtropical climate, using plants in landscaping, selecting the right plants for the location, shrubs and trees, proper pruning, palms, Florida statutes and landscaping, mulch essentials, turf management and irrigation. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. with a light breakfast at the Wonder Gardens, 27180 Old 41 Road, Bonita Springs. The sessions are indoors and outdoors and include hands-on activities. Registration for the entire program is $49.
