Growing up in the 1950s in Crawford Hollow, South Carolina, Jenna Thompson, the daughter of a healer, is herself a healer. The young Black girl dreams of becoming a nurse, to combine her healing skills with the world of medical science to create a third world that is the best of both. Her dream takes her far from her small, segregated hometown.

Five men play a key role in Jenna's world. Two are her brothers, one a loving childhood friend, another whose battle for civil rights ends tragically, and one whose arrogance and desire trap her in a loveless marriage.

Her only hope is to find the path that will lead her back Full Circle to the man and the love she has been waiting for her entire life. Will Jenna find the happiness she deserves?

Katrina Covington Whitmore and Betty Lipscomb Walker created this story based on Betty's reminiscences growing up in a small town in the segregated South, combined with a healthy dose of Katrina's creative license and imagination. The authors both reside in Metropolitan Atlanta.
