Household Ink Records State of the Art/Label newsletter

Household Ink Records managed to release two albums and two singles during the pandemic.
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Jan. 10, 2022 - PRLog -- HI newsletter, 12-31-21

As with many folks and many cultural enterprises, the pandemic monster forced Household Ink Records to go in-house since March of 2020. But the creative machine and its feeding creative urges kept on a'roiling, and HI was able to pull together energies from many ports to facilitate at least two-and-a-half-ish releases, and a few more projects still in the works for 2022.

The HI goods: flapping, Flapping's seeyoutonite; Headless Household's single "Holed Up & Hunkered;" Joe Woodard's Goleta Electric, and Tableaux Sonique's debut single, "December: Dreaming Forward."

Re: seeyoutonite:

"Drawing inspiration from classic rock heavyweights such as the Band and Little Feat, and filtered through jazz's sophisticated harmonic sensibility, the record sits comfortably alongside the work of better known '80s/'90s acts such as Pavement and R.E.M. Not for nothing has this creative duo of Woodard and Lackner gone to school with the world's top improvisers; seeyoutonite sounds both fresh and timeless."

--Charles Donelan, Santa Barbara Independent

In short, in-house forces have gone out of house.

Peace and health to all.
