Author Elder, Ellis A. Thomas Jr, is the son of Ellis A. Thomas Sr, and the late Apostle Joann Brown and Robert Brown Jr. He served the state of Georgia as a National Guardsman for ten years. He worked in the trucking industry for over twenty years and in warehousing for over ten years. He has received the Georgia medal of Accommodation for his service during the floods in Georgia. He also received numerous awards from employers for being a top performer. Ellis is a graduate of the Mt Zion Bible College in Thomasville, Georgia. He currently serves in Lakeland, Ga under the leadership of Apostle Odie Cook Sr at Pearly Gates Apostolic Church. He is also an active member with the Mt. Zion Bible College under the leadership of Dr. Rudy and Pastor Linda Bradley.
