Author and Demographic Futurist Bradley Schurman Elucidates Three Trends to Watch for in 2022

WASHINGTON - Jan. 5, 2022 - PRLog -- Speaker, Author and CEO of The Super Age, Bradley Schurman shares three trends to look out for in the coming year.

Washington, D.C. – January 5, 2022 – Demographic futurist and opinion maker on all things dealing with the business of longevity, Bradley Schurman, recently published an article to his website entitled, Looking Toward the Future: Three Big Trends for 2022 in which he provides insight into several growing trends which will impact society in the coming year.

According to Schurman, "Our populations will continue to age and become more generationally diverse. This will radically change the workplace, as well as the consumer landscape. Workers will become increasingly invaluable. This shift in populations will signal the rise in inclusive design.

The metaverse, as well as emergence of virtual environments, will change the ways in which we engage, work, and learn."

In the article, Schurman shares that he believes the workforce will be reimagined stating, "It's no secret that the pandemic has radically altered the nature of work for a sizable portion of the population; some jobs will simply never be the same."

He goes on to say, "Businesses will need to compete for talent with salaries and benefits, augment the workforce with automation and AI, support their workers through flexible work arrangements, and extend the working lives of all workers through ergonomics and inclusive design."

Indeed, the rise of inclusive design is another area Schurman envisions trending in 2022 as he notes, "as individuals age, there is a greater likelihood that they will experience deficiencies in mobility, vision, and cognitive function. However, none of these declines will make them any less human, or remove their desire to be part of society or the economy."

Schurman's final trending prediction concerns the arrival of the metaverse as he relates, "the metaverse is poised to change the lives of each and every person on the planet and it's going to be a virtual reality soon."
