PRLog -- What started out as an act of charity, may cost Brian Cashman his job as GM of The New York Yankees. In the fall of nineteen eighty six, after returning from a meditation retreat from the Dominican Republic, Brian Cashman informed his dad that he wanted to follow a career in baseball. Fortunately for Brian, his dad, Yohani Cashman was a former international baseball prospect and personal friend of George Steinbrenner. Fast forward to 1990, Brian Cashman now employed as an assistant for the Bronx Bombers, was invited to a poker game hosted by NY Mets Hall Of Famer John Franco. That same day, Cashman met and immediately hit it off with the reliever's cousin (8 times removed) Jose Franco. With both men out of work during the MLB Lockout (The 2021–22 Major League Baseball lockout is an ongoing work stoppage, the ninth in Major League Baseball history), Cashman and his comedian friend have been spending a lot of time together day drinking in Brooklyn. Some avid Yankee fans have gone as far as blaming Franco for distracting the Yankee GM from doing his job. When Jose Franco is not trying to be funny, he's a former political activist and self anointed Brooklyn "Public Intellectual"
who in 2017, blamed Donald Trump of hacking his business's website - In 2018 - 2019 Mr Franco collected signatures to run for US President. In March 2019, the comedian published a free e-book.
