Tech CEO Kimberly King to Host Global Roundtable at United Nations CSW 2022As part of UN-CSW 2022, Women in Technology and their NGO partners will sponsor the "Women's Global RoundTable: Leadership in a Digital World" to explore challenges, opportunities and impact of women's leadership across sectors and regions. Tech Evangelist and Social Entrepreneur, Ms. Kimberly King, will serve as Host and emcee for the Women's Global RoundTable. Guest speakers and invited delegates from across the globe will discuss women's education, economic empowerment and the impact of digital technologies on the future of work. The active participation of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is a critical element in the work of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). NGOs have been influential in shaping the current global policy framework on women's empowerment and gender equality: the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action. They continue to play an important role in holding international and national leaders accountable for the commitments they made in the Platform for Action. 2022 Themes Priority theme: Achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls in the context of climate change, environmental and risk reduction policies and programmes; Review theme: Women's economic empowerment in the changing world of work.
