By: Art Fest Naples Art Fest Naples is a juried show that offers Southwest Florida residents and visitors an opportunity to browse and purchase fine art. Paintings in oil and acrylic, watercolors, drawings in graphite and pastels, art photography, blown glass, turned wood pieces, sculptures, metal works, ceramics and pottery, fiber art, hand-crafted fine art jewelry, and a variety of 2D and 3D mixed media pieces are available. Admission is free, but donations are accepted at the gate to benefit STARability Foundation. The event is sponsored by The Naples Daily News/LOCALiQ and The Neurology Office of Joseph Kandel M.D. and Associates. Arsenault and his wife Eileen owned and operated The Arsenault Gallery in downtown Naples for 30 years. The Arsenaults have been strong supporters of community causes, especially ocean conservation, and several of the more than 31 organizations they have supported have held their fundraisers at the gallery. They closed the gallery this year, but he has no intentions of putting down his brushes. This is the green light to paint in places he's never been before, such as Zanzibar, where he has an invitation next year. There's also the island of Hawaii, where he will participate as "ship's artist" in a Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution research expedition to measure the tallest mountain in the world, from the seafloor to summit. Originally from Naples, Benjamin Stanley's family has been involved in the Art fest since its inception, and he has volunteered in many ways over the years. Stanley attended Savannah College of Art and Design, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Art in Illustration. He and his wife Kay Wolfersperger run House of Kindling, an art department for hire. Together, they help small businesses thrive and add a spark of fun and adventure into people's days. He has contributed work and stories to Huckberry, The Parks Project & Poler, worked with artists and creatives like Kiki Smith, Kendall Carter, and Andre Leon Talley, and curated art collections for companies like YouTube and Marriott hotels. Kay Wolferspereger is an illustrator from Savannah, GA. She studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design and earned two Bachelors of Fine Art degrees, one in graphic design and one in fibers (as valedictorian) End
