Follow on Google News | It's An Art Estate Sale In Charlotte!Charlotte Art League to Clear Out Building Ahead of Move to New Location
By: Charlotte Art League All of our renter's artwork as well as the furniture and equipment we are taking to the new building will be cleared out before January 14. Beginning that morning, we are selling everything else in the building, which includes art, furniture, equipment, wall panels, supplies and more. Name your price (no serious offer refused). Cash or cards accepted. Please bring your own vehicle to haul purchases away that day. "This is a wonderful chance to bring home a piece of CAL, whether it's an original work of art, something from a studio, or a piece that will work in your office," explains CAL Executive Director Jim Dukes. "Plus, all proceeds from the sale of items will go to our general building campaign and will help us fund our new facility." CAL's new larger location at 4237 Raleigh St. will be shared with community partners. It will be an innovative space that embraces all forms of performing and visual arts and will become a true destination. The venue will include an outdoor performance space, a digital arts incubator, a dedicated private gallery for private shows, events space and more. Come out January 14-15 from 8 am to 5 pm to take home a piece of the old facility and make our move into the new space easier. About Charlotte Art League: Founded in 1965, Charlotte Art League has served as an accessible gateway to the arts experience for art lovers of all ages and backgrounds.
