Moss Foundation Holds 8th Annual Charitable Golf Tournament

MIAMI - Dec. 17, 2021 - PRLog -- Moss Foundation held its 8^th annual golf tournament, the Plumb Bob Classic, at the Trump National Doral on Dec. 10. The tournament attracted 272 golfers and raised almost $300,000 for South Florida non-profits.

"We are so grateful to our sponsors and participants. Year after year they help us in our efforts to support deserving non-profits throughout the tri-county area," said Chad Moss, president of Moss Foundation.

At the event on Friday, Moss Foundation immediately donated most of the proceeds of the golf tournament.

• $100,000 to HANDY of Fort Lauderdale, which helps abused, neglected and disadvantaged youth
• $75,000 to Place of Hope, which provides programs and services to end the cycles of abuse, neglect, homelessness and human trafficking
• $50,000  to ARC Broward, which provides opportunities for people with disabilities
• $25,000 Boys & Girls Club of West Palm Beach
• $10,000 to Boys & Girls Club Broward
• $10,000 to Miami P.A.C.T. (People Acting for Community Together)
• $5,000 to the Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation

The remainder of the funds raised will be donated to charities in the South Florida community throughout the year.
