Raquel Quezada - Breaking Barriers

HAVERHILL, Mass. - Dec. 17, 2021 - PRLog -- Raquel Quezada is Latina from the Dominican Republic, a wife and mother of 4 children's, one with a disability. She is a former fellow at LEND Children Hospital, Crocker and UMASS. Currently, she was a member of the Massachusetts Developmental Disability Council in Boston as well as part of the Commission of the Disability in Haverhill. Raquel she is the producer and host of her own radio show, Changing the World for People with Disabilities, and television show, Discapacidad Sin Barreras and Cambiando El Mundo de Personas con Discapacidades. Raquel uses her platform to educate and empower parents but also to educate the world about disabilities.
With all her knowledge and experience as a mother of a disabled child and with the education received on different types of disabilities and situations on how to deal with it, Raquel was motivated to better help others and that platform empowered her to go beyond that. Raquel is the founder of the non-profit organization CEMDPCD, which is focused on empowering parents and kids with disabilities with education and knowledge in Spanish.

Her books are immeasurable in helping others both in English and Spanish - Breaking Barriers in English/Spanish has not only been a tremendous help for families who are living with someone with a disability and or caring for them but others in a huge way.   Raquel has children's books out as well on subjects such as "The Hero Within Me; Overcoming Disabilities" by Raquel Quezada and Jason Velazquez also authored by both "The Hero That Was Bullied In School
