Leelanau County Extends Contract with Safety Net

Local IT security and support firm expands services with county government
 
TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. - Dec. 10, 2021 - PRLog -- At their November meeting, the Leelanau County Board of Commissioners approved an extension of their IT services contract with Safety Net, a Traverse City-based Managed Services Provider, with a vote of 7-0.

"Leelanau County has been very pleased with the current partnership with Safety Net that was established in 2019. I'm looking forward to the expanded services and IT leadership that will be provided in 2022 and beyond.  It is reassuring knowing that a proactive approach is being used to meet the various information technology needs of the County in a very professional manner," said Chet Janik, County Administrator.  Safety Net will provide additional consulting, planning, and support services for the County when Ron Plamondon, Leelanau County's current IT Director, retires in 2022.
