5 Things You Can do to Celebrate Christmas 2021

APOLLO BEACH, Fla. - Dec. 7, 2021 - PRLog -- After a year full of changes and uncertainty, I am more excited about the upcoming holiday season than ever before. Of course, the pandemic is far from over-- and it's been a trying year for many-- so our classic holiday celebrations might look a little different this year, and that's OK. Rather than carrying on as normal, this Christmas is a great time to mix things up and try new holiday traditions.

1.    Go to Church and Pray

There are plenty of services available on Christmas Day, from the morning through to the evening, but you don't have to attend a Church service to invite God into your day. Whatever you do, ensure that you don't forget the real meaning of Christmas.

2.  Celebrate Christmas with Safety

It's supposed to be the happiest time of the year, but this year it doesn't really feel like it. With many of us hunkered down at home, some having lost jobs, others having lost friends and family members to COVID-19 or other illnesses, it's tempting to give this holiday season a miss.

3.  Wrap Gifts in Fabric

Wrapping gifts is one of my favorite pre-Christmas traditions, but wrapping paper is horrible for the environment because we use so much of it, and it can't be recycled. A few years ago, my family started wrapping our gifts in fabric instead of paper and we've never looked back. Invest in a few fabric bags or patterned furoshiki wraps that can be used year after year. Plus, you'll save a fortune not buying new rolls of gift wrap each season!

4.  Watch Christmas Classics

What better way to celebrate the holiday than with a Christmas movie marathon? There will be a whopping 41 new Hallmark Christmas movies this year, and you can always revisit classics, such as It's a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street and Elf. Don't forget—Hallmark will also be playing Christmas movies throughout November, all day, every day! Plus, you can chow down on these recipes inspired by Christmas movies as you watch.
