Gridlock Crypto Wallet Grows Userbase By Thousands

BRISTOL, U.K. - Dec. 2, 2021 - PRLog -- November saw Gridlock, a new crypto wallet, experience a huge spike in interest and users. Gridlock reported a 26x growth in users in one week. This was game-changing for the small startup team, but it did not come without drawbacks.

Launched in late September 2021, Gridlock provided a mobile crypto wallet which claims to provide the highest security for any wallet on the market. The iOS and Android app features a key splitting technology which gets users to split their private key into 5 and distribute it between their friends.

The app was built on Ethereum and users could only transact with ETH in the first 2 months, but the excitement began to build around the announcement of Solana storage from the pioneering startup. As the user base grew rapidly, several technical issues arose for the developers who were not expecting such a sudden spike. The servers experienced some crashes and some users were not even able to generate a wallet address, removing the core functionality. With an army of new users to please, Gridlock ensured that everything would be fixed and development would continue.

With the Solana and NFT launch around the corner, Gridlock decided to do a giveaway of 1000 free NFTs to those who signed up to a waitlist. This cemented them as a go-to wallet for many crypto enthusiasts, even if support for other tokens has not been developed yet.

There is a long way to go before Gridlock can rival industry titans like MetaMask, but the security is there and the features will follow.
