South Shore Chamber Hosts Ribbon Cutting for Sargent Child and Family Services New Center

NORWELL, Mass. - Dec. 1, 2021 - PRLog -- The South Shore Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Sargent Child and Family Services at their new center at 80 Washington Street, Building A in Norwell MA.

Sargent Child and Family Services provides assessment, consultation, therapy, social-emotional skill building groups, parent support groups, and advocacy to children ages 0-18 and their families. They also provide training and workshops to schools, childcare centers, Early Intervention, and community groups.

Founded by Catherine (Kate) Sargent, MS, LMHC, LABA, the center offers a family-centered, individualized approach to meet the unique needs of each child and family. Sargent Child and Family Services uses an eclectic, multifaceted approach utilizing different types of treatment and therapies to create a program that best meets the individual needs of the child and family.  Therapy is conducted by caring, professional, qualified therapists. They have a trandsdisciplinary team that included Behavior Analysts and Therapists, Mental Health Counselors, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Music Therapists to provide consultations and therapy.
