Stevens Construction wins at the Lee Building Industry Association Industry Awards

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Nov. 19, 2021 - PRLog -- Stevens Construction Inc. earned two awards at the Lee Building Industry Association (BIA) Industry Awards, announced Mark Stevens, company president.

Stevens Construction won a Summit Award for best healthcare project for SWFL Children's Charities Eye Institute of Golisano Children's Hospital. As part of the Lee Health continuing services contract for outpatient facilities, Stevens Construction provided interior demolition and a complete renovation of an existing vacant building into SWFL Children's Charities Eye Institute of Golisano Children's Hospital. The 5,700-square-foot medical office is the largest pediatric ophthalmology office serving Lee County and includes a lobby, 14 exam rooms, offices and nurse stations appointed with brightly colored finishes.

Stevens Construction also won a Summit Award in the best restaurant project category for Bar Tulia Mercato. Stevens Construction provided an interior and exterior transformation of a vacant space that previously housed a wine bar with a limited menu to a full-service restaurant and bar led by culinary trendsetter, Chef Vincenzo Betulia. The entire six-month project was delivered to the client three weeks ahead of schedule.

Stevens Construction has earned 60 Summit Awards since the program began in 2006.

The Summit Awards program recognizes BIA members who have obtained an outstanding level of success and demonstrated superior professionalism in the commercial construction industry throughout the year. The projects were judged for quality of construction, challenges, timeliness of completion, client satisfaction and safety.
