PERTH, Australia - Nov. 17, 2021 - PRLog -- Environmental Health Australia (Western Australia) released a major update to their online food safety training program, 'FoodSafe Online' in 2019, resulting in record numbers of registrations.

Since the major update was released, 18,000 food handlers, across local governments and the private sector have registered to complete the online training.

Vic Andrich, President of EHA (WA) said, "Uptake of FoodSafe Online has been remarkable, and demonstrates that when a health programme is designed to be relevant and easy to understand, it is embraced by food handlers and the wider public in great numbers."

Information was taken from the FoodSafe Pack and developed into a professional eLearning training course, which now includes the training videos, photos, graphics, and the new allergen module.

"This was a very informative course. It covered all the different aspects of food handling in a safe way," said a participant of the course.

"This course was really helpful and I have learnt a lot and will definitely implement it in my house also," said another person who competed the course.

FoodSafe Online is also available in Chinese and Vietnamese.
