EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - Nov. 15, 2021 - PRLog -- One of the most difficult off-road races in history, the SCORE Baja 1000, tests both man and machine over the hot and unforgiving desert of Mexico's Baja Peninsula. Several racers utilizing the FluidLogic hydration system have an advantage, however, as they have a reliable delivery of fluid to maintain their physical capabilities and focus.

SCORE Trophy Truck racers Cameron Steele and Ryan Arciero are teaming together in the No. 16 Desert Assassins truck, which is equipped with the FluidLogic hydration system. "The fact that I can program the FluidLogic system was a big advantage for me," said Arciero. "I found the flexibility to be a huge benefit. I can set the pressure, the amount of fluid, and the frequency, based on what I know my body needs."

Ricky Johnson, one of the early adopters and who has helped innovate the FluidLogic system, will also be racing with the Vildosola SCORE Trophy Truck team. Jeff Proctor of the Factory Honda racing team has also equipped his Class 7 Honda Ridgeline with a FluidLogic hydration system and MagLock Air air-hose coupling device. Both are designed to easily connect to the racer's helmets and deliver both air and fluids efficiently. "My system has the button on the steering wheel that delivers a pre-programmed amount of water," says Proctor. "A light flashes to let you know when it's time to drink. The system gives you enough water to stay hydrated, but not too much."

Other racers using the FluidLogic system include the owner of Off-Road Warehouse (ORW), Greg Adler who is co-driving with the owner of Jimco Racing Robbie Pierce, and co-owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers Bobby Patton, in the No. 30L SCORE Trophy Truck Legends class. Former NASCAR Champion Brendan Gaughan, who won the SCORE Baja 1000 in 2019, is competing this year utilizing the FluidLogic system in his No. 162 South Point Hotel Class 1 Buggy.

"The ability to be properly hydrated and in turn, maintain focus, is one of the key reasons why these and other off-road racers are using the FluidLogic hydration system," says Ed Jaegar, Rainmaker Solutions founder and CEO. "We designed the FluidLogic system to eliminate having to think about hydration. Studies show that when properly hydrated, a race driver shows more clarity, a lower heart rate, and faster reaction times. Even cognitive systems are improved so that fewer mistakes are made."

FluidLogic components have more than five years of testing and development and are also currently being used by NASCAR, IMSA, and Indy Car racing teams. Visit www.fluidlogic.com.
