Follow on Google News | Registration open for 37th annual Everglades Coalition Conference to be held Jan. 6-8, 2022By: Everglades Coalition The 2022 conference offers both in-person and virtual attendance options. Early-bird discounted registration is available through Dec. 6. The full schedule of sessions can be viewed online. The Everglades Coalition's annual conference is the largest forum for discussing Everglades restoration progress, challenges and opportunities. Attendees include scientists, educators, conservationists, the media, students and members of the public, as well as decision-makers and representatives from federal, state, local and tribal governments. The multi-day event features speakers and educational sessions on a variety of topics relevant to Everglades restoration including the science behind restoration and climate change, connectivity and collaboration in the Everglades, federal policy under new leadership, Florida Bay seagrass recovery, and nature-based solutions. This year's host sponsor is Izaak Walton League of America.
