The producers of this report documented get out the vote efforts in Georgia to not only reflect on what has been accomplished, but to also create a framework for success that can be used in other southern battleground states across the country. This is "More than a celebration of what we accomplished in the 2020 general and runoff elections," said co-producer of the report and Atlanta NAACP Political Action Chairman, Ray McClendon. "The Georgia Way is a proven template for increasing voter turnout among people of color across the southeast for 2022 and beyond. The work continues…"

Shirley Sherrod, Cofounder and Executive Director of Southwest Georgia Project for Community Education, Inc.stated: "I think the report is really good and tells the story of not one but many efforts to help move Georgia.  I hope the work can continue and that we can all see that it is urban, suburban and rural working together.  We can make changes to uplift all of us, if we keep that in mind."
