Jamie Allison Joins Automobility Advisors

MARIETTA, Ga. - Nov. 22, 2021 - PRLog -- Automobility Advisors, LLC today announced that Jamie Allison will become a Principal Director of the boutique consulting firm, to help drive new growth areas in Connected Services, Product, and Business Innovation due to the Auto Industry shift to Software-Defined Vehicles.

Jamie is joining with Automobility Advisors and Managing Director George Ayres, continuing their longstanding relationship working together at Ford Motor Company over many years. Jamie is an accomplished executive with proven Business (P&L) leadership, Marketing, Digital/Software Transformation, and Technology Product innovation across the Automotive OEM Mobility, Connectivity, and In-Vehicle Infotainment space, and will be a tremendous asset to help Automobility Advisors create new opportunities for their clients. Jamie Allison grew up loving cars and technology and after 30 years working for Ford Motor Co. that feeling is only stronger.  Allison joined Ford Motor Company after graduating from the University of Michigan with an electrical engineering degree and an MBA in marketing. He held key leadership roles in Engineering, Product Planning, Marketing, Motorsports, Wingcast, Telematics, and Mobility while at Ford.

Jamie continues to be immersed in the world of product and business innovations, along with software, and the digital transformation underpinning auto mobility across EV/CV/AV (Electrified Vehicles, Connected Vehicles, and Autonomous Vehicles) and beyond.  He was a member of the global FordPass founding team, and held roles as Chief Product Officer and later General Manager of Global Retail Connectivity, all directed at innovating connected customer experiences while transforming business models by leveraging Customer Lifetime Value and the shift to subscription services.

He will bring all of that and more to Automobility Advisors in their mission to guide automotive start-ups, auto technology companies, investors, and research organizations through the rapidly growing maze of options and opportunities within the changing landscape of automotive mobility, connected services, and automotive digital transformation. Jamie will continue to be based from his existing offices in Michigan and Florida.
