By: Goal PR, Inc. ADC Barrio Mexico plays CS Uruguay Coronado at 3 p.m. CT today, Saturday, October 30, at Estadio Jorge 'Cuty' Monge (VXQ2+V74, San Jose Province, CR) in a Liga Motorola match. Barrio Mexico can clinch the No. 4 spot for the Liga Motorola Segunda Division promotion playoffs with a victory over CS Uruguay. Club President Omar Rivera said, "This is an important match. If we win it will confirm that we are in the playoffs (and) we don't have to depend on any other results next weekend. I think the club has been working hard the last year to look for that promotion. We have a good team with solid experience and a good coach in Gilberto Martinez, so the idea is to combine young players with experienced players that can give us the balance we need to earn promotion." Barrio Mexico (6-5-3 W-D-L) defeated Consultants Moravia 2-0 on Sunday, Oct. 24, and the club is unbeaten over its last four matches. Gilberto 'El Tuma' Martinez is Head Coach of Barrio Mexico. Jonathan Hansen has three goals and three assists, and is among three players (Jeffrey Montenegro, Verny Scott) with three goals this season. Goalkeeper Brian Morales leads a defense that has allowed just 11 goals through 14 matches. Barrio Mexico qualified for the Liga Motorola Segunda Division playoffs last season but failed to advance our of the group stage.
