Savant Books Announces the Release of George B. Hudson's New Novel, "Shep's Adventures"

George B. Hudson was born in East Tennessee in 1947, into a family of seven other siblings.  His life was deeply impacted by the mountains and streams of the area in which he was raised.  Dogs have always been an important part of his life, and his stories of Shep were inspired by those experiences.  He was a lifelong educator teaching History in the public schools for thirty years.  He is married to Dana and the couple now reside in East Tennessee where they are both substitute teachers at the high school level.

"I was inspired while watching my favorite dog movie of all time, 'Fluke', to write a book about dogs in which the dog can talk to certain other characters in the story." says Hudson. "In this book, Shep's conversations with another dog, with his owner and with a wise owl, add to the story and make the presentation more easily followed from Shep's point of view.."
