NTI's COO John Kindt named to Pepperdine University Board

MALIBU, Calif. - Oct. 18, 2021 - PRLog -- On September 22, 2021, John Kindt, NTI's Executive VP & COO, was appointed to the Pepperdine University Board.

Mr. Kindt earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Seaver College, Pepperdine's undergraduate school (where he graduated Salutatorian, First In The Business Division, Alpha Chi Honor Society and Summa Cum Lauda), as well as his Presidents & Key Executives MBA (PKE-MBA) from the Graziadio School of Business, Pepperdine's graduate school in business.  For nearly two decades he served on the Seaver College business division advisory board, and was a regular speaker at Pepperdine University events - from twice commencement speaker for Pepperdine's undergraduate business school graduation, to a frequent panel judge for Pepperdine's entrepreneurial awards, guest speaker in business classes and panels sponsored by Pepperdine's business club (now known as DECA), often along with the university's president, and also mentor to hundreds of business division students over the course of his 20 year involvement with the undergraduate business division.

"As one of the few that have dual degrees from Pepperdine, I am obviously a big fan of Pepperdine and its mission.  It is not too much to say that my undergraduate experience at Seaver College changed the trajectory of my life.  I just think Pepperdine is an incredibly unique institution, striving on the one hand to remain true to its Christian mission in a world that makes it increasingly hard to do so, while constantly pursuing world class scholastics with an international footprint.  The biggest thing, though, are the students that it attracts, as unique and wonderful as the university."

The Pepperdine University Board comprises business, professional, and civic leaders who demonstrate their confidence in the University's distinctive mission. Quarterly meetings provide an opportunity for members to offer counsel and guidance on important policy matters and to hear timely reports from the president, administrators, professors, and students.
