Synthetic Emotions create AI Art

DOVER, Del. - Oct. 18, 2021 - PRLog -- That artificial intelligence can create art is nothing new. But so far, most projects have been limited to imitations of well-known artists and their works. Viewers often describe these paintings as soulless. That is not the case with Crypto artist Dario Gi's AI machine, which bears the name PEEZMO AI. It works with synthetic emotions, from which collage art is created that contains all-too-human energies.

The software is a byproduct of an ambitious project with an American venture capitalist. The day Gi realized that the machine he was building could also do art was PEEZMO AI's birth. He ultimately expanded the device to include other components from artificial intelligence research and had the first artworks generated.

To start with PEEZMO AI, the user must first provide the computer with input. That could be a newspaper article, for example. The software extracts the emotions from the text and searches for matching image elements from accessible image archives. Finally, these elements get assembled into a collage artwork that artistically reflects the emotions from the article.

PEEZMO AI is still in development. The final stage of expansion is to create an independent artist avatar. It will be allowed to make its own decisions, ultimately resulting in artworks created without human intervention.

Dario Gi comments, "At this autonomous point, we can expect to see very honest artworks that reflect our all-too-human lives. However, this Artificial Intelligence will care little about buzzwords like body positivity, diversity, and inclusion. And with that, the machine might take strong offense. So let's be surprised by this coming digital artistic freedom."

The artworks are currently exhibited by the agency MAGALL ART at OpenSea.io, the most prominent marketplace for NFT art on the web. There will be 4000 PEEZMO AI exhibits there by the end of 2021.
