Community First Health Plan Now Offers Medicare Advantage Plans

SAN ANTONIO - Oct. 14, 2021 - PRLog -- Medicare-eligible beneficiaries located in Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, Medina, Wilson counties can now enroll in the Community First Medicare Advantage Alamo Plan as soon as open enrollment kicks-off on Friday, October 15, 2021.

As the only locally-owned and managed, non-profit health plan in Bexar County, Community First Health Plans is proud to offer Medicare Advantage Plans for people age 65 and over, including individuals with special needs.

The Community First Medicare Advantage Alamo Plan will cover all beneficiaries Part A and Part B services, extra coverage for things like vision, hearing, dental, and prescription drug coverage will also be included with Part D. Medicare beneficiaries who enroll will also be provided;

• Protection against high-cost prescription drugs through our offering of various levels of cost coverage for different "tiers" of drugs.
• Affordable coverage through the use of our trusted network of providers.
• Continue to have all the same rights and protections that you would under Original Medicare.

Medicare, a federally funded health insurance program, is for people who are age 65 or older, certified as medically disabled by the Social Security Administration (SSA) or of any age with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) or Lou Gehrig's disease.
