Roamler acquires Mobeye and expands its field marketing services in the French market
Roamler, through its Retail division, has acquired Mobeye, one of its strongest competitors in crowd-supported field marketing services for businesses, in the French market.
Since it launched a decade ago, Roamler has positioned itself as the European leader in business solutions powered by mobile technology and flexible resourcing. The company has reached a dominant position in the retail industry, providing clients such as Unilever, P&G and Red Bull with a mobile community spread across Europe, to perform in-store field activities on demand. For Roamler, which was privately funded 20 million euro to expand its operations in 2020, Mobeye is the second acquisition this year, following the Dutch data company Datlinq earlier in March.
The purpose of the strategic acquisition is to further expand Roamler's commercial proposition to FMCGs and retailers, while consolidating a leadership position also in the French market.
For Mobeye, the acquisition opens the door to further expansion of its range of services in other key European markets and allows for the integration of new functionalities. The management of Mobeye will remain unchanged, complementing Roamler's international Retail team with their innovative vision, and expertise.
