Hillside Terrace Raising Funds for The Walk to End Alzheimer's!

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Oct. 13, 2021 - PRLog -- Hillside Terrace Senior Living took part in the Walk to End Alzheimer's on Sunday, October 10th to help fund Alzheimer's research. This year the walk was located at Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor.

"We planned every Walk with the health and safety of our constituents, staff and volunteers as our top priorities. All events implemented safety protocols including physical distancing, masks (where required), contactless registration, hand sanitizing stations and more," according to the Alzheimer's Association.

"Our senior communities at Hillside and Plymouth Senior Livings all walked in honor of and support of our residents and families," says Nanya Litz, Chief Operating officer at Hillside Terrace.

They are seeking help to raise $1,000 to further the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. The Walk to End Alzheimer's is held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, becoming the largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research.

"Hillside Terrace has been involved with The Walk since 2007. We walk for our Papa, Melvin Gill and our residents affected by Alzheimer's and their family members because one day we will have a world without Alzheimer's," says Trey Litz, Director of Community Relations for Hillside Terrace.

All donations help provide care and support to all those facing Alzheimer's. The Alzheimer's Association also helps drive new research studies toward new treatment, prevention and ultimately, a cure.
