Lobster Beach™ Announces New Partnership with Appalachian Nonprofit

A new e-commerce store joins with Appalachian charity to help lift mountain people out of poverty

CASHIERS, N.C. - Oct. 8, 2021 - PRLog -- Child poverty in a North Carolina mountain county is over 30 percent, according to Appalachian Restoration Ministries (ARM). This North Carolina non-profit is based in Jackson County on the Mountain Plateau where one of three children lives below the poverty level. ARM has been providing vital needs for the financially disadvantaged in southern Jackson county since 2015. Program efforts have included blankets, jackets, clothing, home wares, and vital home repairs. The area served includes the towns of Cashiers, Glenville, and Highlands, and surrounding areas on and near the Mountain Plateau.

Lobster Beach™, an e-commerce store, announced that it is partnering with ARM to help the financially disadvantaged folks that ARM serves. Lobster Beach hopes to eventually recruit other businesses in the effort to lift the Appalachian people in Jackson County out of the cycle of poverty and to enjoy the favor and blessings of God in their lives.
