Carrington College in Sacramento Announces New Criminal Justice: Corrections Program Director

 
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Oct. 5, 2021 - PRLog -- Carrington College in Sacramento is pleased to announce that Rob Hale has been appointed to serve as the new Criminal Justice: Corrections program director.

Hale previously served as a correctional officer for the Yolo County Sheriff's Office in Woodland, Calif., for more than 13 years. He spent two years as a treatment coordinator where he was responsible for creating and maintaining correctional programs while working with local partners in probation, outpatient treatment centers, community clinics, and the public defender's office. He also served as treasurer of the Yolo County Correctional Officer Association.

As the new program director for the Carrington College Criminal Justice: Corrections program in Sacramento, Hale will help guide the curriculum and be responsible for instructor oversight, improving student retention rates, and managing course inventory to make sure students have all the resources needed to achieve educational success.

"What I love most about my position is having the ability to change someone's life through education, motivation, and inspiration," said Hale. "My goal is to continue building the program in order to help all our students develop a long-lasting, successful career. I still have a lot to learn about my role as a program director, but I will use every learning point for continuing my efforts in supporting our students through their academic journey," added Hale.

Hale is a proud father of four who used to enjoy spending time coaching youth basketball for the North Highlands Park and Recreation District. He earned a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Phoenix.
