Tell Secretary of State Antony Blinken to #FreeRusesabagina

NEW YORK - Oct. 5, 2021 - PRLog -- No Business with Genocide and #FreeRusesabagina will hold a press conference on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 10:00 am local time in New York City  at the United States Mission to the United Nations, 799 United Nations Plaza (between E. 44th and E. 45th on First Ave)

The groups will present petitions to Secretary of State Antony Blinken asking him to stand up for Paul Rusesabagina and to ask the Government of Rwanda for his immediate release.

No Business with Genocide is a coalition dedicated to stopping governments and companies from profiting from or funding genocide and other mass atrocities.

Background
In late August, Paul Rusesabagina, the international human rights icon whose story of saving 1,268 people during the Rwandan Genocide was told in the film Hotel Rwanda, was kidnapped and flown against his will from Dubai, the United Arab Emirates to Kigali, Rwanda.
