RV University has been successful in constituting a one of its kind interdisciplinary course curricula that aims to provide students a unique liberated pedagogy where they are able to choose and form their own major-minor combinations to acquire their bachelors and masters degree in their preferred subject major.

The emphasis in their new 21st century curriculum aims at providing 3 interdisciplinary courses from the stream of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Design and Economics and Finance. Any of these major subjects can be combined with a minor subject from any of the three streams.

The B.Sc Honours is a 3 years degree program offered by the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences designed to provide an in-depth learning experience to major in Environmental Science, Physcology, Physics or Filmmaking. Choose minors from subjects offered under B.A. programmes in the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences like History, Indology, Philosophy and Ethics, Film Studies, Political Science and Leadership Studies, Literature and Languages and Performing Arts. With additional Minor choices from School of Economics and Finance and School of Design.

The BA Honours is a 3 year degree program offered by the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences with majors in Film Studies, Performing arts, history, Indology, philosophy and ethics, literature and language. Choose minors from subjects offered under B.Sc. programmes in the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences like Environmental Science, Physcology, Physics or Filmmaking. With additional Minor choices from School of Economics and Finance and School of Design.

There is also the School of Economics and Finance that offers postgraduate programs like MBA, MA (Economics), and undergraduate programs like BBA (Hons), B.Com (Hons) and BA (Hons) Economics with options to choose electives from the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences and School of Design.

There is also the School of Design that offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes like B.Des. and M.Des. with specialisations in industry relevant subjects such as Communication Design, Interaction Design, Spatial Design, Information and Graphic Design, Product Design and User Experience Design.
