New Afrobeat Artist Kamari Deni Releases Official Video For 'Put In Work'

Sept. 28, 2021 - PRLog -- New Artist, Kamari Deni drops the official video for her hot new single, 'Put In Work', today, September 27. She premiered her newest single, 'Put in Work' on September 3, it's the first off her untitled album but the second single of her performing career. The video, shot in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire where she now lives, was directed by Queen L and produced by Digital Swanu.

'Put In Work' is an ode to everyone working hard to make their dreams come true confesses (https://vocal.media/beat/introducing-a-q-and-a-with-america-s-international-music-unicorn) the 22-year-old beauty who has a striking resemblance to Willow Smith both in looks and style. She admits the rocker has been an inspiration. "I wrote Put In Work in February, right after [I] moved to West Africa. The inspiration behind the song was a letter -- a sort of poem I wrote to myself to help me stay motivated and determined to follow and achieve my dreams." She continues, "The title came to me like a hook, or a mantra to always remember; it can be a bit intimidating to move to somewhere new and succeed."

Receiving her first guitar at eight years old, Kamari Deni grew up in the studio watching her mother, who is a star in her own right, recording and rapping. Gangsta Boo from Three 6 Mafia provides the intro in the music video who's been like an Auntie to the artist and has been in her life since she was a child.
