Honolulu's O'Kims Korean Kitchen is gaining more popularity in Hawaii and US mainland

HONOLULU - Sept. 23, 2021 - PRLog -- "O'Kim's Korean Kitchen" (Honolulu, Hawaii, Owner: Hyun Kim), which opened in Chinatown in July 2016, moved to the current Nuuanu Ave. in January 2019. With the expansion of the store space, they started to offer dine-in service and have grown into a popular local restaurant.

The restaurant 's signature items including Kalbi Steak, Confited Pork Belly Brûlée and Korean Chicken & Gnocchi stay on the menu. They rotate monthly specials, which attract local return customers every month.

During summer break this year, mainland tourists and influencers who watched their Instagram (@okims_honolulu) as well as a California YouTuber's video (https://youtu.be/3p1d9SudjGg) flocked to O'Kims to taste their Korean fusion cuisine.



"We were so busy we even didn't have time to eat our lunch", the owner said. "Majority of our customers during summer break was from US mainland. We also have steady local customer base. They really love our food and support small local businesses like us. We really appreciate both local and mainland customers", she added.

They recently started YouTube channel and feature local food writers/foodies, influencers for their activities and reactions on O'Kims food.

The restaurant opens from 11AM~8PM from Monday through Saturday, closed on Sundays. They update monthly special menus on their Instagram.
