Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis Announces 25th Annual Evening of Hope Gala

ST. LOUIS - Sept. 22, 2021 - PRLog -- Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis (BHGHSTL) will host its 25th annual Evening of Hope Gala on Thursday, October 21^st at the St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station to benefit academically capable area youth-in-need. The 2021 gala is presented by Emerson with Lisa Flavin, Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer, serving as event co-chair alongside Juanita Logan, Area VP - Global Corporate Development for World Wide Technology.

Evening of Hope is the largest fundraising event of the year for BHGHSTL, raising more than $500,000 annually.   Support from this event allows BHGHSTL to provide food, housing, education, mentoring, clothing, medical services, and extracurricular activities for all their scholars. As a result, BHGHSTL maintains a partnership with scholars and their families through high school graduation and into their early careers.

"The Evening of Hope, is just that… providing hope to young people desiring the opportunity to reach their full potential in life," says Flavin. "The dinner is our opportunity- that of our community, corporations, and family - to come together to support that vision.  Together, in one evening, we can experience the joy of a brighter future."

The evening will pay tribute to the 2021 Father Sheridan Reflection of Hope Recipient, Ernst & Young, LLP, for their incredible long-standing commitment to BHGHSTL. The award will be accepted by Ernst & Young, LLP partner, Jim Hill.

The gala includes a tour of St. Louis Aquarium, cocktail reception, dinner, and live auction.  BHGHSTL makes a deep investment in a select number of high-potential youth who, at a significant rate, overcome challenging family circumstances and other systemic environmental risk factors to become high-performing individuals committed to bettering themselves and their communities.
