Following the issue of a damaged nuclear power plant in Guangdong, the Chinese government decided to start the construction of 4 new nuclear reactors with the collaboration of the Russian company Rosatom.
The first 2 units should be completed by 2027-2028 while the other 2 have not been yet started.
