Mayor Coté is Handing Over Keys to Excited Home Buyers at Canada West Group's Elina Townhomes

BURNABY, British Columbia - Sept. 7, 2021 - PRLog -- The Elina townhomes at 1211 Eighth Avenue, proudly built by Canada West Group are soon to be fully occupied by families who were searching for an affordable place to call home without having to cross bridges or move too far outside of the Lower Mainland.

The newly built complex falls inside of the City's RGO/RT Ground Orientated Infill Housing Designation which aims to build townhomes or rowhomes that fit in and complement the surrounding single family homes.

The City's Family Friendly Housing Policy required 30% of the units to have 2-3 bedrooms with 10% of those units offering 3 or more bedrooms. Canada West Group exceeded the city requirements and designed the complex specifically for growing families. Elina on Eighth (named after the developer's daughter) offers 22 contemporary homes - 20 of which have 3 or more bedrooms.

The unit mix paid off and the development sold out earlier this year, attracting families from all over who were looking for more space, an affordable home and a convenient and friendly community. In fact, homes were sold to a family who lives in a condo a block away and wanted to stay in their community and one of the original owners who sold her land to Canada West will be moving back and living in a brand new townhome!

Canada West Group is hosting a small outdoor community gathering to celebrate the new homeowners and the Mayor for his involvement in making this development happen.
