New Children's Book Promotes the Importance of being a Helper

From wiping spills to cooking meals, moms can do it all! But what will happen when a little girl sees her mom unplugging herself from the wall?

WACO, Texas - Sept. 2, 2021 - PRLog -- Mothers all over the world can identify with how busy mom life is. Whether moms work in the home, outside of the home, or primarily tend to their homes, being a mother is a role that's wildly respected. In "I Turned My Mom into a Robot," author Kennisha Griffin shares a funny story about a little girl who notices her mom's work and secretly wishes she was a robot.

"I created this story when I only had three children," Griffin says. "At the time, I often found myself spinning in circles trying to do it all. I quickly learned that motherhood was a dance routine that would never be perfected."

The story continues, as the little girl wakes up at night to find that her mom turned into a robot. But when she reaches out for affection, the tin-hearted robot could not deliver. The little girl decided she would become the best helper.

I Turned My Mom into a Robot inspires young readers to know that they are an important part of the family and that family togetherness is what it's all about.

"I have seven children now. I'm always encouraging our kids to know that they are valued and that they are big part of how our household functions. We all play an important part in having a healthy home," Griffin says.

I Turned My Mom into a Robot releases as hardcover picture book in December 2021. To pre-order a copy, visit http://www.iturnedmymomintoarobot.com.wordpress.
