Caregiving.com Supports the Independent Documentary Film Wine, Women, and Dementia
Market leader partners with Kitty Norton, author of the blog Stumped Town Dementia, as she roadtrips the U.S. to swap family caregiver stories of love, humor, devotion, and death.
"The film is the story of dementia caregiver life, told through intimate, humorous, heartfelt conversations between myself and the seasoned caregiver friends I have made virtually on this isolating journey," said Kitty Norton, Creator/Executive Producer of Wine, Women, and Dementia. "Meeting in person for the first time we will share our experiences over a bottle of wine and explore what it means to be a dementia family caregiver; the hilarity, the horror, the devotion that keeps us going while sharing the challenges, solutions, and mistakes we've made as dementia family caregivers."
The partnership aligns to Caregiving.com's daily mission of supporting family caregivers everywhere through the power of storytelling, information sharing, and easy access to a vast array of resources. "Kitty's motivation is beyond admirable, her creativity is off the charts, and her humility and self-awareness are exactly what we need more of in this world," said Matt Perrin, Head of Growth for Caregiving.com. "Our goal everyday at Caregiving.com is to help the millions of isolated family caregivers in this country feel seen, related to, and helped. That's exactly what Kitty and her team are doing with the film and as a current dementia caregiver myself, I could not be more excited about this project. We're honored to support it."
