Diesel Particulate Cleaner – No Heat No Damage – Save Money - ECOFuelMax
For years the only way to get a DPF clean was to have it baked in a kiln or oven at +/-1800 degrees. That was until a Texas School Fleet Manager used Cobra Clean that was used to remove oxidation cleaned his BBQ grill.
Upon returning to work he imitated another test. He took a large pail filled it with Cobra Clean and soaked a DPF in it for 24 hours. He lifted the submersed DPF and noticed the clear liquid turned dark black, it melted the carbon. He then rinsed the filter with a hose in his filtered wash rack and couldn't believe the black carbon clogging the DPF rinsed out. The filter came clean and looked like new, he dried it and reinstalled it on a School Bus.
If it were not for that Fleet Manager Diesel owners would still be heating their filters to get them clean. The cost to clean a DPF with heat is $300 - $500, plus labor. The cost to clean a DPF in house with Cobra Clean is +/-$85. In a majority of cases a heated DP may need to be replaced after 2-3 cleanings due to damage caused by heat.
The cost to replace a Diesel Particulate Filter with a new OEM DPF is $2,500 to over $4,000. To date it has been reported that a DPF cleaned with Cobra Clean has been cleaned 8 times and still functioning like new.
Cobra Clean is a wonder cleaner, in addition to cleaning DPF's, EGR valves and removing oxidation from Paint it cleans work areas, garage floors and painted areas. Those interested in more information go to https://ecofuelmax.com/
